CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya Eligibility Criteria 2026-2027

1️⃣ Eligibility for Class 10 (Secondary)

A student can apply if:

• Passed Class 8 with at least one year gap

• Failed in Class 9 from a recognised school

• Failed in Class 10 board exam earlier

• Studied privately up to Class 9 (with affidavit if never attended school)

• Minimum age: 14 years as on 31 March 2026

✔ This option is mainly for school dropouts or students who want to continue studies through correspondence.

2️⃣ Eligibility for Class 12 (Senior Secondary)

Students can take admission if:

• Passed Class 10 from a recognised board with at least 1-year gap, OR

• Failed in Class 11, OR

• Passed Class 11 from a recognised school, OR

• Failed in Class 12 board exam earlier and want to reappear.

3️⃣ Additional General Conditions

• Students should have valid documents such as mark sheet, ID proof, photographs etc.

• Patrachar Vidyalaya generally prioritizes students who cannot attend regular schools (dropouts, working students, health issues etc.).

4️⃣ Typical Documents Required

• Previous class marksheet

• Transfer Certificate (TC) / School Leaving Certificate

• Aadhaar card / ID proof

• Date of Birth proof

• Passport size photographs
